Where you see a charity asking the public to text a short code 84424, 70500, 70300 or 70303 then Vir2 provide the technology behind it. If you see 70700 or 70001 then we may also be involved. ActionAid and The Brooke were amongst the first to use our text and call back services- they are all still with us today. In 2006 we took over JustGiving's text donation service and began the campaign to lobby for a change in text donation rates. We were subsequently joined by the Charities Aid Foundation, the Institute of Fundraising and NFP Synergy. We are the Charities Aid Foundation partner and Charity Technology Trust's referral partner for text services. We provide text donation services to events like the Papal Visit and to hundreds of charities including 25 of the top 100 charities. Our clients include ACLT, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Breast Cancer Care, Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance, The Children's Society, Islamic Relief, RNLI, Sane, Teenage Cancer Trust, The Eden Project, Marie Curie Cancer Care, the United Nations World Food Program and High Commission For Humanitarian Relief. |

Woodland Trust began working with Vir2 when we provided a
straight forward text donation service. The
relationship has since
deepened into Bluetooth marketing and other related areas.
